[edit] Short FAQ

Will be Gammu+ commercial software ?

hmmm, this software in form written by Marcin will be always given for free. This is promise. You don't have to believe it. But you can always take last published version, get full source and modify (it's promised by license and won't/CAN'T be changed). In this meaning this software will be never commercial.

..you can buy license, which will give you more possibilities than GPL/LGPL. And for example allow to close your changes made to "official" version. In this meaning this is commercial. Please note, that it was forced by situation (nobody wanted to donate project progress).

Does it sence to write it instead of Gammu ?

Both are good, have advantages and give profits (because of it are extended somehow).
