We have seen a lot of hype about new Framework 13 Pro. Various sources say a lot of good about it and this is true - Framework made huge progress and new device is really pearl.

But what is missed almost by everybody?

Laptop has got weight > 1,4kg and cooling, which seems to be not enough (device is throttling and it doesn't of course mean, that CPU will fail immediately, from the other hand this problem can make faster replacing motherboard or repair need). The last problem was notified by Notebookcheck (only?) and it seems to be similar to the problem in the Framework 16 (looks like general design flaw from this company).

Next problem is connected with the screen - it seems to be designed specially for Framework (this probably required a lot of money). And now the rethorical question - company is advertising producing less e-waste, but it's locking users to some specified screens. Isn't it opposite to the mission, they try to sell to world? Wouldn't be better for uses to be able to put into 13 Pro (or 14 Pro) any 13/14" screen? (it could open it for OLED, Low Power screens and many other options)

Please note, that money used for designing new screen could be used for covering RAM prices increase - company promised it, but was not able to deliver (and after situation happen Framework didn't change preorder process to make sure, that prices in the preorder will be really not changed because order will be always done from parts available physically on the stock)

So, currently we have pearl, but also quite heavy and throttling laptop with something looking like non-standard screen (+big price and quite big standby/idle power usage). I like Framework mission, but... this American device in various points is worse than devices from Asia and you won't see it in American reviews.
